Skyler can say a few words now, like ma', da', "oh uh" and we think he's trying to say "again". ever since i've been trying to take the binki away more he's been saying more stuff. He loves going to the Park and play and ride on the big slide. He loves playing with balls. He's very loving, lately he likes to wrap his arms around me when he's behind me and hug me tight. very cute!
And I just had a hair cut yesterday! And its super short!! I have no idea why the heck i did this. its been the biggest mistake of my life! I miss my long hair and i really hate my hair cut! :( oh well, i guess this is lesson that i had to learn the hard way. I just hope mark gives me a wig for mothers day! lolWednesday, May 6, 2009

Great News!

Dr. Conger is putting Mark in a Clinic in Holladay all by himself. It'll be like his own. We are so excited! Its a very nice clinic and we're excited to get it really busy. Mark has already got himself a lot of patients in a matter of a week. So this is a really good start. Maybe by next year or so we'll buy it and it'll be Marks! Mark is working really hard, and he's got the best coach to train him, Dr. Conger. A very well known Chiropractor in Utah. We are so glad Mark got this job. Its all been a blessing. When we moved here to Utah, Mark couldnt find a job. So we were considering to pick up our stuff and move to another state where he could get a job faster. But the very next night, Dr. Conger called and wanted to see mark for a second interview. Out of 25 or more Chiropractors that he interviewed Mark was his first choice. This is now Mark's sencond week of working. I do have to admit, i hate that he comes home really late, sometimes until 9 but i know that he's working really hard to be successful. And once we are debt free from our student loans it will be very worth it! We are so thankful that we live with my wonderful mother and father in law. They are really great and i will forever be so thankful to them for letting us live with them. They're amazing!
We are going to be able to save all the money and pay our debt a lot faster. We have gotten so good by saving money. And we know that most of Mark's collections will be going to our loans. So we are so excited to start paying those things ... lol!! The best part of Mark being on his own clinic is that it'll be like his but he wont have to put a dime on it. Just time. And all of the patients he gets it'll be his once he buys it. What better motivation can he get? I will post pictures of the clinic soon.

Changes
We've been having so many changes in our lives lately. First, well we moved to Utah. Then, Mark found a Job and he's starts Monday working for Dr. Ted Conger. We are so blessed to have him work with him. We're totally excited! and last but not least, Skyler got a.....HAIRCUT! It was kinda an accident. Mark just wanted to trim a tiny bit but we were having to much fun and cut way more than we wanted to. But Skyler still looks very cute. So it works. We are enjoying the changes in our lives and are very happy here in Utah.

I'm officially a Stay-at-Home-Mom!
Finally I get to stay home. No specific time to get up and get ready for work. Pack my lunch or have to wash my uniform daily. I still dont feel like its true but its is! I cant believe it!! Finally I get to spend time at home and fix better food. And most importantly spend more time with SKyler. I've been working ever since he was 3 weeks old and I would always come home tired and didnt spend much time with him. But it feels good to know that I can focus on him more and teach him at an early age a lot more things. Maybe start potty trainning him sooner. Although it feels good to know I will be able to stay home now, a big part of my heart will miss working and mostly my kids that I taught. This last week was the saddest week ever of work. Knowing that I wont see my kids anymore and laugh at their humor. I love them and hope i can come back and visit them before the school ends. Here are some pictures I posted from our Christmas Party we had on our last day. They all did an excellent job.

We had a couple of teachers tell us not to even try to have our class do a gingerbread house because they are 3 years old and they're to little to do this. But I thought they must be crazy so we did it anyways. And Look! The houses looked Great and the party was awesome. The kids loved it and had a great time. So FYI theres nothing impossible for a 3 year old to do. After working here I know that they are capable of a lot of things and this is the time when to start teaching them. This time is Golden!
